DONATIONS

In 1992, a concerted effort began to raise funds for the conservation of the Texas Confederate Museum Collection, owned by the Texas Division United Daughters of the Confederacy®. Through penny drives, cake sales, auctions, programs, balls, garage sales, and donations by the Texas Division UDC® membership, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Children of the Confederacy, individuals, Confederate descendants, museums, historical organizations and through foundation grants, over $200,000 has been raised. This project is dedicated to the conservation of artifacts of the War Between the States period, for the education of future generations and is an ongoing project.

Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated. Pledges of $500 or more, payable over a 3 year period, qualifies the donor for the $500 Club and the donor’s name will appear on a plaque with that artifact.
