Children of the Confederacy
We pledge ourselves to preserve pure ideals, to honor the memory of our beloved Veterans, to study and teach the truths of history, and always to act in a manner that will reflect honor upon our noble and patriotic ancestors.
Memorial
We honor all veterans of all wars, attend memorial services, and participate in all memorial holidays. We visit and care for monuments, historical markers and cemeteries.
Historical
We are learning the true history of the South, focusing on the “War Between the States” era, to better understand our heritage. We participate in re-enactments and parades, and serve as docents in the museum in our community.
Educational
We travel all over the state of Texas, and went recently to Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Huntsville, Alabama, participating in various historical events. We are all officers in our organization and our experiences are building our leadership skills.
